The Breastnet Approach
Our history
Arizona Breastnet was founded in 1998, by Dr. Belinda Barclay-White, a Board Certified Radiologist who has been practicing radiology in Phoenix, Arizona since 1983. Breastnet specializes in medical conditions related to the breast. Dr. Barclay-White has gained a reputation as an expert mammographer among general surgeons, breast surgeons, gynecologists and primary care physicians, and has acquired a following of patients in the Valley for whom she has diagnosed breast cancer and other various breast conditions.
Immediate results
Our patients receive immediate results at the time of their appointment. Any additional views or ultrasound are performed at the time of your visit so you do not ever have to wonder, worry or wait for results. If needle biopsy of a suspicious finding is indicated, this can be performed within 24 hours and results are communicated to you the next day by our physician, circumventing the usual delays that occur with these procedures.
The latest technology
State-of-the-art digital mammography is used at our center, making the mammogram experience much less time consuming and more thorough. We understand the stress that can accompany getting a mammogram, and we focus on making the experience much more stress-free.
All female staff
Our all female staff understands that your time and peace of mind is valuable. Our physicians are board-certified radiologists who specialize in mammography and the diagnosis of breast related problems. Our Center also offers two waiting areas - one for family and friends and another exclusively for gowned patients, which feels more like a spa than a doctor's office.
Our decidedly different approach to breast care is accomplished through the use of an all-in-one facility
staffed by a team of highly skilled specialists devoted to specific areas of breast health.
Breastnet's all female staff understands that patients deserve excellent care delivered with compassion, courtesy and respect.
What this means for you?
Breastnet offers a collaboration of experts in the field treating the patient as an individual with specialized needs. Patient services are designed to provide a diagnosis without unnecessary stress or discomfort. After your exam, you will wait comfortably in the privacy of our Relaxtion Room. You will receive your test results at the time of your examination.
Additional work-up, such as special views or ultrasound, will be performed during the same visit, eliminating the need for multiple appointments.
All procedures are performed with sensitivity to your dignity and privacy.
